Controls are set up like the old "3 knob ES 350", volume for each pickup and master tone. It is fitted now with 2 p-90's (no brand name on them but they sound good). There is a visible patch line under the neck pickup where the rout for the humbucker was filled. The finish is decent (but not factory quality). Every part is a replacement, including the decal and binding, and it is finished in a nitrocellulose sunburst. The input jack was broken out at some point and it was repaired with a large plate with screws (some screw holes still visible) and the area now is solidly repaired with a wood patch. Truss rod works fine, action is low, and it plays easily. The neck is the fast 'slim taper' '60s style. There are no cracks or repairs to the neck and the frets are in very good shape with very little wear. (I have no idea why people do some of the things they do to great guitars.) The only things original to this guitar now is the neck, body, nut and frets (maybe tuners- they are Klusons from the correct time). ![]() ![]() At one time it was fitted with dual humbuckers and stripped of its finish. It started its life as a 1966 ES 125 C (single pickup). Here is a great player guitar you won¹t be afraid to play out with.
